Christmas gift idea: LG Pocket Photo 1

The LG Pocket Photo weighs just like an external drive

Is that a huge phone? An external drive? No it’s actually a printer! The lightest and smallest printer I’ve seen in the market, and a pretty cute one at that, the LG Pocket Photo is a refreshing change from all that digital imagery – when was the last time you actually held a photo in your hands? Available in black and white, the photo prints remind me of those Polaroid photos we had gotten used to growing up. To print, the device employs zero ink (ZINK) and Bluetooth technology to wirelessly connect to your phone. Compatible with the iPhone or an Android phone, users will have to download the LG Pocket Photo app first. This app can take photos using the phone’s camera, edit pictures, and if you want, it can also generate QR codes (barcode) to print out. To print, simply pick a photo from your camera roll and voila! Instant keepsakes for those trips and special gatherings with friends and family. Printing takes less than a minute (prints measure 2×3 inches, like a business card), but if you want a high-quality photo to hang up on your wall, this is obviously not the device to use. A great gift suggestion for shutterbugs or the gadget-savvy.

The LG Pocket Photo is available at Ambassador Appliances Shangri-La Mall and Virra-Mall Greenhills for Php7,990 and comes with 20 pcs. of print paper.
